Dream

At North Ringwood Community Children’s Centre we aim to provide children and families from the Maroondah area with a community-focused early learning environment that is warm, welcoming and homely, and one that embraces the natural environment around which the centre is located.

We offer a high quality, intentional play-based program where children are respected as individuals and independent thinkers, are actively involved in their program to encourage meaningful learning and development, and are provided an abundance of indoor and outdoor learning experiences from which dreams can grow and curiosity can be cultivated.

The centre is staffed by highly qualified, passionate and committed educators who work in partnership with community members to support the best possible early learning opportunities for our children.

Our Centre

Our 0-2 and 2-3 year old rooms only have 8 children per day, promoting a strong sense of belonging.

Our families love our spacious and shady outdoor playground, and enjoy regular visits to the adjoining reserve.

Our centre is run for the children and their families, not for profit, which keeps fees affordable.

Why Choose Us?

Whether it is to provide your child with stimulation and enhance socialisation, or allow you to return to work, focus on younger siblings or simply savour a few moments to yourself, access to quality early childhood education and care is crucial.

Our centre is run for the children and their families, not for profit. The centre:

  • has small group sizes and high staff-child ratios provided by qualified and dedicated staff;

  • caters for 0 to 5 year-olds, with:

    • an accredited four-year-old kinder program; and

    • separate outdoor areas for the 0-2 and 2-5 age groups;

Our families love our:

  • natural environment including a spacious and shady outdoor playground;

  • open-ended and ever-changing activities providing scope for creativity and learning;

  • variety of extracurricular experiences — at no extra cost (e.g. professional music and drama workshops, mobile farm and zoo visits);

  • school readiness program for the kinder children, which focuses on emotional maturity, social, language, and motor skills;

  • home-style and nutritious meals and snacks, freshly prepared on-site each day;

  • competitive daily and weekly rates, rebateable through Centrelink for eligible families; and

  • orientation program for new children.
